COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) -Ahead of Halloween, Colorado Parks and Wildlife Park Ranger Jasmine Wolcott stopped by 11 News to share some fun activities coming up to kick off spooky season in and around Colorado Springs!
Here in Colorado Springs, people can visit Cheyenne Mountain State Park to take part in an archery pumpkin shoot, where guests can enjoy free archery lessons with equipment provided by Parks and Wildlife from 4 to 6 p.m. this Saturday.
Following the pumpkin shoot, guests can stick around Cheyenne Mountain State Park for Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7 p.m. Community organizations and first responders will be at the park with decorated trucks and free candy. According to CPW, wildlife officials will bring a bear trap that guests must crawl inside to retrieve their candy.
