A British peer has denied her own claims that Oasis will be making a stunning return to Knebworth 30 years after their iconic show.

Lady Taylor of Stevenage had to clarify her own comments, just hours after making them in the House of Lords.

The Labour peer made the proclamation in Westminster on Wednesday (October 22) when she said: "Next July, I will have the benefit of five days of Oasis concerts in the fantastic venue of Knebworth House, which is just about a mile away from my house.”

Adding: "I can hear and enjoy [the gigs] from my house, and they represent the important cultural role of music venues and … make an enormous contribution to our economy."
