(WNDU) - Beacon Health System has announced strategic leadership changes at three of its southwest Michigan hospitals.

The health system says it is redesigning the current administrator role and establishing local president roles at its critical access hospitals, Beacon Allegan and Beacon Dowagiac, to strengthen local leadership and enhance service delivery.

Starting Nov. 1, Greg Piper, vice president of retail services, will serve as interim president of Beacon Allegan Hospital, and David Bailey, president of Community Hospital of Bremen, will serve as interim president of Beacon Dowagiac Hospital.

Beacon says both leaders will continue in their current roles and provide executive oversight for Beacon Plainwell Hospital as the health system implements this new leadership structure.
