SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Earlier Thursday evening the 5-2-5 Foundation hosted its ‘Say Boo to Drugs’!
This is an annual family-friendly event to not only get you into the Halloween spirit, but it also gives families important resources to keep their families safe.
More than 25 community booths were set up around Howard Park for kids to Trick or Treat at.
‘Say Boo to Drugs’ helps promote access to local services such as mental health support, food assistance, recovery resources and youth programs.
“We love anytime we can get families together and have a good time and it’s always great when we can come together and pass out resources to help the health and wellbeing of our community,” said Becky Savage the co-founder of 525 Foundation.
The event is running now until 7:00 p.m. Thursday
