One of the biggest high school football weekends of the year is here - It’s cutoff weekend.

As of Saturday night, the 16 spots in all 10 public-school super-sections will be locked in, and teams can start preparing for their opening playoff games. A number of division titles will be secured in the final full weekend of playoff games as well.

In this week’s football notebooks, we take a look at the top storylines and biggest games and reveal our latest rankings in all five of New Jersey’s leagues as we prepare for the high school football postseason.
