The Oct. 14 shooting of a 61-year-old businessman in his driveway was “an obvious murder for hire” attempt, Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido said Thursday, as he urged the man charged with the crime to cut a deal.
Eddie Jawad, who owns several gas stations in Macomb County, was grazed in the leg by a gunman while pulling his SUV out of the driveway at his home on 24 Mile Road in Macomb Township, according to police.
