LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas drivers might fondly remember last week’s gas prices based on the increases shown in the latest AAA report.
The Thursday report showed gas prices averaged $2.67 per gallon for regular in Arkansas. That price is 4 cents higher than it was this time a week ago, but 16 cents lower than this time a year ago, AAA reported.
Central Arkansas is showing prices slightly below or right at the state average. The lowest is Hot Springs, with a $2.58 average, according to AAA, followed by the Little Rock-North Little Rock metro at $2.62, and Pine Bluff at $2.67 per gallon.
The highest average price in the state is in Deshea County at $3.10. Arkansas County has the lowest average price in the state at $2.53 per gallon.
