KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) -- The Kansas City Chiefs' latest first-round pick, left tackle Josh Simmons, hasn't played or practiced with the team since Week 5. Since then, the team has offered little information about the nature of his absence.
However, while speaking to the media Thursday, Head Coach Andy Reid offered a little more insight into when, or if, Chiefs fans can expect the rookie left tack back on the field.
"Then, Josh, my update for you with Josh would be there is communication. I’m not going to get into all of it. Everything is positive, it’s not a negative situation. He’s taking care of family," Reid said.
Simmons has been listed as out with a personal matter since Week 6, when the Chiefs would take down the Detroit Lions 30-17. The game was seemingly the moment the Chiefs
