LONGVILLE, La. (KPLC) - The Cole family took the phrase “go big or go home” to heart when they decided to honor their youngest son’s senior year of high school.

Shane Cole and his family created a 4.5-acre maze at Cole’s Country Market featuring a 370-foot-tall design of a soccer player complete with Carter Cole’s name and number. The tribute celebrates Carter’s senior year at South Beauregard High School and his final season playing soccer as a Knight.

“It was kind of like ‘let’s send him out with a bang,’” Shane Cole explained. “You can send them a card; you can take out an ad, but if you do a four-and-a-half-acre maze, that’s a pretty big deal.”
