COLUMBUS, Ohio — High schools across Ohio will vote on a name, image and likeness (NIL) proposal by the Ohio High School Athletic Association in November.
The OHSAA announced Thursday that its Board of Directors set Nov. 17-21 as dates in which schools can cast their votes on the emergency bylaw referendum. Each school’s principal will cast its vote.
The emergency bylaw vote comes after a Franklin County judge issued a temporary restraining order Monday against the OHSAA and in favor of Huber Heights football player Jamier Brown and his mother. Brown is a junior and wide receiver commit for Ohio State.
