Donation to provide 63,000 meals in the Tri

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- This morning at the Tri-State Food Bank in Evansville, local McDonald's owners presented a $10,000 donation.

The money was raised through the Side of Support Campaign. The fundraiser donated a portion of every fry sale to support hunger relief across the Tri-State.

Officials say the donation will help provide around 63,000 meals to families in need. Officials say this donation underscores the impact of local partnerships in fighting food insecurity.
