GEORGIA, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Trucks pulling in and out of the driveway of A-1 Water Delivery has become a much more common sight the last few months, as wells around Vermont are running dry amid the state's drought.
According to the latest U.S. Drought Monitor released Thursday, 59 percent of Vermont is in 'Extreme Drought', which luckily is down seven percent from one week ago due to the recent wet weather. More than half of New Hampshire is in extreme drought too according to the monitor, with 53 percent of the state nearly as dry as it can be.
