Holly Hill Mayor

With municipal elections just weeks away, Holly Hill voters are preparing to decide who will lead their town for the next term. The race features three candidates — incumbent Mayor Billy Chavis, local businessman Michael Dennis, and former property developer Jeffery Stahl — all offering different visions for the community’s future.

Flooding and drainage issues have become one of the main talking points in this year’s mayoral race, especially after floodwaters from Hurricane Helene left behind significant damage in the southern Orangeburg County town.
