MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Safe Task Force says you cannot outrun justice or accountability, even at more than 100 miles per hour.
Task force officials made this announcement following an early-morning arrest in South Memphis on Thursday.
Action News 5 caught the moment the man was apprehended by law enforcement.
Dozens of Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers, plus agents with the FBI, DEA, Homeland Security and U.S. Marshals Service, worked together to make the arrest on South Lauderdale Street.
“My ole’ lady told me about it,” Jan Mcglown said. “I just happened to look out the window, stepped outside and seen them all present out here.”
There was a large presence of state and federal agents surrounding a home Thursday morning, leading to the arrest of Dermarious Moore.
