A Ridgefield woman was sentenced Thursday to nearly three years in prison for an August 2022 rollover crash on Interstate 205 in Vancouver that killed her passenger.
Nora K. Kintz , 51, pleaded guilty Aug. 14 in Clark County Superior Court to vehicular homicide by disregarding the safety of others and driving under the influence, court records show. On Thursday, Judge Robert Lewis sentenced Kintz to two years and 10 months in prison.
“Every one of these cases is tragic,” Kintz’s defense attorney, Shon Bogar, said after the hearing.
Some family members of the victim, John G. Ancheta, 62, of Corbett, Ore., wrote letters to Lewis asking that Kintz receive a lighter sentence.
