HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Hawaii movie star took a walk down memory lane when she visited her alma mater.
Tia Carrere, 58, most recently starred as social worker Mrs. Kekoa in Disney’s live-action “Lilo and Stitch” remake.
Carrere shared photos on instagram of her visit with faculty, staff, and students at Sacred Hearts Academy in Kaimuki.
The former lancer said she was able to catch up with her second grade teacher, Mrs. Muramoto, and her history teacher, Mrs. White.
She even made sure to try on her old school uniform.
Carrere is set to appear in Philippine romantic comedy, “The Last Resort,” which is coming out in February 2026.
