LANGHORNE — No. 8 Neshaminy earned a throw deep in No. 9 Plymouth Whitemarsh territory in the final minute of a tied second-round District 1-4A playoff game.

Ava Hood’s throw soared into the box and bounced between the first cluster of players and the second. When the ball bounced towards the net and players gave chase, whistles sounded as players tumbled to the ground. It was ruled that Neshaminy’s Brianna Garyah was fouled, resulting in a penalty kick.

Anna Axenroth calmly stepped to the ball and her left-footed shot was true, giving the Skins the lead.
