LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A major trade show in Louisville is doing more than just boosting the local economy.

The Equip Exposition is being held at the Kentucky Expo Center this week.

The show's educational arm, the Turf Mutt Foundation, hosted Mulligan's Mutt Madness at Freedom Hall on Thursday.

They partner with the Kentucky Humane Society on an adoption event for local rescue dogs.

The host of the hit show "Lucky Dog: Reunions" shared important information for those looking to adopt.
