PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- The search continued for Peoria Public Schools District 150's next superintendent during a focus group on Thursday.
Just under a dozen community members and parents met at the Tri-County Urban League to share what they want to see in the school district's next leader.
Two members from the search firm "From the Heart International Educational Services" led the session that lasted less than an hour. Those in attendance voiced concerns and expectations, including ways a superintendent should communicate.
They were even asked if they had any candidates they would recommend. Sarah Howard and her husband Scott have two autistic kids with IEP's in Peoria Public Schools.
