OTTAWA - Linus Ullmark made 21 saves, backstopping the Ottawa Senators to a much-needed 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.

Tyson Foerster got the Flyers (3-3-1) off to a great start, scoring 29 seconds in the first period on Philaldephia's first shot of the game, but the visitors couldn’t find a way to beat Ullmark again.

The Senators (3-4-1) knotted the score midway through the first when Michael Amadio beat Dan Vladar, who stopped 31 shots on the night.

Ottawa took the lead early in the second when Lars Eller picked up a Nick Jensen rebound and made a behind-the-back pass to Olle Lycksell, who put a shot in at the side of the net for his first goal with the Senators.
