ROBINSON, Ill (WTWO/WAWV) - The Halloween spirit was alive and well and a whole lot of fun at Lincoln Trail College.

The school hosted it's very popular "Trick or Treat at the Trail" Thursday night. Faculty, staff, and students put on the event for kids of all ages. The costumed visitors went from one spot to another collecting candy and trinkets.

Chris Forde is the Program Director of Marketing & Communications at the school. He says it's the largest community event the college puts on a year.

"This is something we love to do every year. We always look forward to it. It brings such life to our campus. It's just fantastic," said Forde.

Those who attended, like Melanie Weaver and her family, seemed to enjoy it.
