RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — It is the fourth day of early voting, and people across Cameron and Hidalgo County continue to make their voices heard.
In Cameron County, 907 people voted on Thursday. The Brownsville Public Library had the most voters, with 216 ballots cast.
Hidalgo County had a total of 1513 people cast their ballots, with 25 of them being cast through mail. Within the 29 polling locations, the Elections Annex Building had 392 voters. The UTRGV location had over 200 voters, while Sgt. Fernando De la Rosa Library, Edinburg Parks & Recreation Center, and Lark Community Center had over 100.
Early voting will run through Oct. 31. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4.
