NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Nashville-based law firm is making sure more people have access to legal services right in their own backyard. The new initiative helps low-income neighbors.
The law firm, Bass, Berry & Sims, announced an initiative where low-income residents can receive free civil legal assistance from volunteer attorneys.
They have worked with several organizations in the community such as Harvest Hands, Joy Kitchen, Tennessee Justice Center, Neighborhood Health and Nashville Public Library. They realized that as a firm, they could do more to support the legal needs of the people who are there.
Nashville residents with a 37210 zip code can receive free legal advice at their monthly legal clinic at Pruitt Library.
Even though other areas still need help, they chose to focus
