BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department released new details about a deadly shooting involving one of their deputies last month.

What started as a response to a burglary at a car dealership in northwest Albuquerque quickly escalated when a deputy was just inches away from a man who pointed a gun at him. "We're lucky that we have two deputies alive," said Sheriff John Allen.
