ISSAQUAH, Wash. — A former Endeavour Elementary School employee is suing the Issaquah School District, claiming district leaders ignored her complaints that the school’s principal repeatedly sexually harassed her and mistreated students.

After the lawsuit became public, district officials reassured families that students at Endeavour Elementary are in safe hands, writing, "The District is not presently aware of any misconduct impacting student safety and well-being at Endeavour Elementary School and will continue to prioritize student welfare."

But many parents said that statement did little to ease their concerns about the current principal.
