BOSTON — Members of the state’s congressional delegation are pressing for passage of a bipartisan bill to reauthorize the nation’s primary natural gas pipeline regulatory agency.
The “PIPELINE Safety Act of 2025,” received a favorable vote by the Republican-controlled Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee on Tuesday. The measure, if approved by Congress, would reauthorize the federal Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s safety programs for another five years.
