Altoona boys soccer scored two unanswered goals, including a game-winner in overtime, to beat Mifflin County 2-1 in the District 6 semifinals.
Brody Wolfkill put Mifflin County on the board in the first five minutes of the match, sneaking a header past the keeper off a corner kick from Bruce Baker.
The Mountain Lions answered back late in the second half, finding an equalizer with just over three minutes remaining. Altoona finished the job in overtime to clinch a spot in the finals.
Altoona had 21 shots compared to Mifflin County’s six. Mifflin County’s Jack Suydam had 19 saves in the loss.
