MEDINA, Ohio – As school district officials continue to ramp up efforts on deeper learning initiatives, Assistant Director of Instruction Sarah Jackson said she is noticing a trend.
“We had a curriculum meeting the other day and when coaches from the department of instruction share stories from the classroom there are two key strategies we are seeing repeatedly at all levels from elementary school to the high school,” Jackson said. “The first is educators asking students those essential questions which spark the interest of students for the topics they are focusing on in the classroom. The second is those community partnerships where we collaborate with professionals outside of the district so they can work with students and help them to see the meaning and the relevance of what they are
