BISMARCK, N.D. (KXNET) — City and county officials are encouraging everyone to "get the red out" as they celebrate Red Ribbon Week.
During the week of October 23 through Halloween, Red Ribbon Week raises awareness of drug use and the problems related to drugs facing our community, while encouraging parents, educators, and business leaders to promote a drug-free lifestyle for the next generation.
The campaign has been around for a long time, all to honor the sacrifice of one man.
