SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Partly to mostly cloudy skies are on the way for the day on Friday with most of the region staying dry. We should see a couple of spotty storms throughout the day but only for those across SE OK & NE TX. High temperatures get up into the low 80s for the afternoon after the morning starts off in the 50s.
Widespread storms are expected on Saturday. Specifically, we should see 2 good rounds of storms rolling through the ArkLaTex, one that goes through in the morning hours with the 2nd round following at night. These storms will mainly provide us with a chance at some flash flooding with an inch to as much as 5 inches of rainfall possible from tomorrow alone. We should see a break from the storms at least for a couple of hours in the afternoon.
