OKLAHOMA CITY —
A National Guard aircraft was involved in a crash in a field in Oklahoma City, prompting several emergency crews to respond.
Two crew members were on board, one civilian contractor and one U.S. Air Force active duty member. No injuries were reported.
Footage captured by sister station KOCO at the scene showed a downed and damaged aircraft as well as scorched grass and a damaged power pole nearby. A stop sign could also be seen stuck against a wing.
Just after 2 p.m. Thursday, dispatchers received a phone call of an aircraft emergency, according to Scott Douglas with the Oklahoma City Fire Department.
Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene, where the flight crew had already gotten out of the plane.
