Frosty again out the door but partial sunshine will bring mild conditions for Friday afternoon. More clouds roll in this weekend keeping us cool with some spotty showers.

Clear skies and light winds brought another freeze this morning for most of northern and eastern Iowa, though Des Moines proper generally stayed in the mid-30s. That's still cold enough for a decent layer of frost in spots. The clear skies this morning will mean a sunny start to the day, but clouds will slowly increase for the afternoon. Highs should reach the low to mid-60s, which is actually above average now for this time of year. Average highs are now down to 59 degrees for Des Moines.
