LUXEMBURG, Wis. (WFRV) - Last year’s state runner-up #2 Luxemburg‑Casco swept #7 Seymour on Thursday night.

The Spartans came out on fire, taking control in the first set 25-14.

Set two followed much the same pattern with the Spartans dominating 25-13.

In the third set, the Thunder attempted a pushback, but Luxemburg Casco stayed composed. Sophomore Aubrey Frey hammered a kill to seal the set 25-19 — and the match.

The Spartans move on to face #3 Oconto Falls on Saturday.
