KINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- On Tuesday, Kingston Police reported finding a man with a gunshot wound inside a house while conducting an "extensive narcotics investigation" on Emerson Street. According to police, the target of the investigation, 23-year-old Albert Miller, was arrested on scene.
Officers said the investigation began two months ago but executed a search warrant at the home around 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday by members of the Kingston/Ulster Emergency Services Unit (ESU), the Kingston Police Department and the Town of Ulster Police.
Upon entering the home, ESU members found a male with a gunshot wound inside. Police have not released additional information about the man.
