A Warwickshire school was put in lockdown over concerns regarding an authorised pick up. On Friday afternoon (24 October) police in Bedworth told residents precautionary measures were in place at the town's Nicholas Chamberlaine School on Bulkington Road.
Police and the school have both issued statements to placate parent and resident concerns, saying everyone in the school is safe.
A spokesman for Nuneaton and Bedworth Police said: "There are currently some precautionary security measures in place at Bedworth's Nicolas Chamberlaine school. There is no risk to pupils or staff and officers will continue to work with the school.
