BOX ELDER COUNTY — The annual Brigham City sheep trail is set for Saturday, Oct. 25, when approximately 2,200 sheep will be herded through the city streets to reach their winter pastures, continuing a tradition dating back to the 1930s.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. when the flock starts trailing from the intersection of Fish Hatchery Road/Rocky Dugway Road in Mantua.

The sheep are expected to arrive in Brigham City around 9 a.m., following this specific route:

- The herd will travel down Highway 89 through Box Elder Canyon.

- They will proceed onto 600 East to 600 North.

- The sheep will turn left onto 600 North, crossing Main Street.

- The trail continues west until reaching Watery Lane.

- The flock will then turn west on State Route 13 (S.R. 13) toward Corinne and Bear River Cit
