(Dickinson, ND) — A Dickinson man is in custody after crashing into a home on Wednesday evening. According to the Dickinson Police Department, a 36-year-old man in a pickup truck was traveling west on 20th St. East when he revved his engine, left the road, and crashed into the house. He allegedly tried to flee the scene but was restrained by residents in the area, including an off-duty sheriff’s deputy. The home was extensively damaged after the vehicle ended up in a bedroom, but no one was hurt. The man is facing several misdemeanor charges, including driving under suspension, resisting officers, and driving under the influence.
