The Government of Ontario released this TV ad which will be broadcast in the U.S. that uses a recording of Ronald Reagan to argue against tariffs.

U.S. President Donald Trump continued his attacks on Canada on Friday morning, hours after he said he would end trade negotiations over an ad campaign by the Ontario government.

In posts to his Truth Social platform on Thursday night and Friday morning, he lashed out at Canada over the ad and defended tariffs as necessary for U.S. national security.

“Canada is trying to illegally influence the United States Supreme Court in one of the most important rulings in the history of our Country,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Friday.
