PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The 43rd annual Portsmouth Olde Towne Ghost Walk is tonight! It’s a walking tour with a mix of Halloween fun while learning stories of the past.

Friday, Oct. 24, people will walk in groups and hear reenactment stories that have been passed from generation to generation. The stories will be events that have happened in the houses of the historic area of Olde Towne.

“All the other people that you only heard about in history books. They walked the streets. They slept in these homes. They lived here in various periods in the city's history. So it's very, very unique. You're actually in the authentic history of the city, not, you know, in a parking lot or in a converted mall or wherever they have a haunted house type activity,” said Jim Cullen, the Co-Manager of Ports
