Rumors are a part of life in the NFL. It can be difficult to separate real signs something is about to happen from rampant speculation. With that said, there has been a lot of discussion lately about the Jets potentially sending some well-known players out of town at the upcoming trade deadline.

New York Jets edge rusher Jermaine Johnson, the subject of trade speculation, doesn’t expect to go anywhere.
Johnson said Thursday that he received “clarity” from the front office.
“I’m definitely wanted here, and I want to stay here,” he told ESPN. “That’s been understood. Hence the tweet.
It certainly seems like the Jets are willing to take calls on some of their big name players at the very least.
