Proposed Saint Luke’s revitalization project aims high with 48-storey addition
A historic street corner in Cabbagetown may soon be transformed into a modern neighbourhood gateway – a place where people can come together to build both spiritual and community connections.
After submitting Zoning By-law and Official Plan amendments to the City of Toronto, purpose-built rental developer Kindred Works is aiming to transform the iconic Saint Luke’s United Church heritage site at Sherbourne and Carlton streets into a vibrant, mixed-use hub offering more than 440 rental units. One primary change is the return of a welcoming public square.
