HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. — A Carmel nurse practitioner is now facing dozens of charges following an eight-month investigation into fraudulent prescriptions.

IMPD on Friday, Oct. 24, announced the arrest of 34-year-old Katherine Curtis. On Oct. 29, she was formally charged with the following in Hamilton County, according to online court records:

IMPD said earlier this year, detectives received information from several pharmacies that suspected Curtis, a licensed nurse practitioner, was overprescribing medications and writing fraudulent prescriptions.
