INDIANAPOLIS – More than a week after he underwent surgery to repair a fractured orbital bone , the Colts still do not have a firm timeline for quarterback Anthony Richardson ’s return, head coach Shane Steichen said Wednesday.

The fourth-overall pick from the 2023 draft suffered the injury in pre-game warmup ahead of Indianapolis’ Oct. 12 home game against the Arizona Cardinals in a “freak accident” where the apparatus he’d attached a resistance band to broke, hitting Richardson in the eye hours before the Colts win .
