BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — North Dakota Farmers Union (NDFU) is the largest general farm organization in the state of North Dakota. NDFU President Mark Watne released a public statement calling on North Dakota's Congressional delegation to do more for farmers.

Watne spoke with KX News, stressing the importance of meeting the moment, "It's time for them to step up and say, 'well, wait a minute, we are impacting agriculture not only in the short term but in the long term.'" Watne said. "They gotta start having the conversation as to all the things happening to agriculture."
