BOSTON —
Deliberations continued for a third day Friday in the trial of Terrence Crosbie , a Dublin firefighter accused of raping a woman in Boston during last year's St. Patrick's Day celebrations.
The alleged victim, who was 28 at the time, said she had consensual sex with Crosbie's roommate at the Omni Parker Hotel after meeting him during a night out at the Black Rose.
She said that she fell asleep in the second bed in the room and woke up to Crosbie, 39, raping her. After the alleged incident, she left the Omni Parker and went to Mass General, where she reported the rape.
Legal experts said jurors are likely weighing credibility and sifting through inconclusive DNA evidence.
