SEVEN HILLS, Ohio

Shoplifting, Broadview Road: On Sept. 27, police were dispatched to Meijer regarding a shoplifting call at the Broadview Road store.

An arriving officer talked to the Meijer loss prevention officer, who observed two women steal quite the smorgasbord of food.

One thief took steaks and lamb legs valued at $191, while the other stole shrimp and salmon valued at $122.

The caller said the women were suspects in a similar heist at a Richmond Heights store.

They also left in a Jeep Compass with an Indiana license plate.

Police are investigating.
