12 On Your Side Food Drive

12 On Your Side and Genworth are again teaming up with Feed More for a food drive on Tuesday, Oct. 28 to “Fill Up Freddie.”

Freddie is Feed More’s big green bus that serves as a mobile market.

Because of the recent government shutdown, food banks are already reporting a greater need for food donations due to people being out of work.

This comes just weeks before the holidays, a time when food banks are always in need of extra donations due to children needing meals that are normally provided by schools.

How to Help

Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 8020 Villa Park Drive on Tuesday, Oct. 28.
