59-year-old Linda Jensen, who lives with a disability, says she’s forced to rely on the goodwill of strangers to get into her local pharmacy in Nipigon, Ont.
Jensen said she has limited use of her hands due to arthritis, and isn’t able to open the two doors at the entrance of the Rexall Pharmacy and Drug store on Front Street in Nipigon. Without an automatic door opener, Jensen said she has to wait outside the door until another customer is willing to let her in.
“It's so discouraging to go to the pharmacy and know that I have to struggle that much,” Jensen said.

It’s the only pharmacy in Nipigon, and Jensen said it would be over two hours for her to drive to the next
