SPRINGHILL, La. (KSLA) - Following an investigation, a Spinghill Police officer was arrested for alleged malfeasance.
On Oct. 23, at 5:30 p.m., the Louisiana State Police and Bossier Field Office arrested a Springhill Police Department (SPD) officer, Amandia Hamilton, of Shongaloo.
An investigation began September in Sept. 2025 when investigators learned that Hamilton, while in her official position, allegedly provided an unauthorized license plate query to a family member for personal gain.
As a result of the investigation’s findings, Hamilton was arrested and charged with malfeasance in office.
Hamilton turned herself in and was booked into the Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
