YOUNGSTOWN First Ward City Councilman Julius Oliver is inviting Youngstown residents to a town hall meeting next week to receive an update on the city’s spending of American Rescue Plan Act funds. The citywide event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the DeYor Performing Arts Center, Ford Recital Hall.

The purpose of the town hall is to engage citizens and inform them about the status of the federal funding. The event will feature a panel discussion with City of Youngstown department heads and council members, and all attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Youngstown received a total of $82.7 million from the American Rescue Plan. A special review committee, which includes city council members, department leaders, and independent community foundation
